The Newmarket campus is a member of the local Newmarket Chamber of Commerce.

Community Health Efforts

The Newmarket campus of Everest College supports the efforts of the March of Dimes in the greater Newmarket area. The March of Dimes continues its excellent mission of helping to improve the health of babies through the prevention of birth defects and the reduction of infant mortality.

Charitable Causes

Everest College at Newmarket is involved in charitable and holiday events the year round, from Christmas and Thanksgiving, to participating in toy and clothing drives whenever possible. The Newmarket campus also participates in summer walks for charitable causes.

Student Ambassador Program

Students can benefit tremendously through peer-to-peer networks. Student Ambassadors assist in providing support, motivation, recognition and appreciation for students enrolled in campus programs.

Career Services Assistance

Working with students to help them prepare for successful job searches is a top priority. We help students write effective resumes, gain new interviewing skills and to find affordable ways to dress for job success.

Regional Interests

Newmarket is rich in culture and arts as there are numerous opportunities for town residents to participate in artistic programs and activities. Yearly events include the annual Nin Os Kom Tin Aboriginal Festival at Fairy Park Lake, Winterfest, Artisans Festival and Nativity Pageant.
