The Web Technology Specialist program is intended to provide you with a comprehensive foundation of the essential concepts and techniques of web-based computer applications. You will gain the skills to effectively research, design, develop, produce and maintain Internet and Intranet sites.

The program emphasizes web development, providing the ability to source, select and organize the content, and design the appearance and layout of information.
You will learn to use a variety of graphic, database, and animation tools to create and optimize text and illustrations within a site.
The knowledge from this program will enable you to build an effective website, from conception of an idea to completion of the finished product. You will also gain the skills to prepare mock-ups and storyboards to effectively present web-related concepts.
